A simple foot soak is easily made and feels wonderful.
Find a bowl or pan large enough for your feet. Place marbles in the bottom and fill with warm water, add about a half cup of Epsom salts and a couple drops of your favorite essential oil (or use fragranced bath salts). Roll each foot over the marbles or just soak for several minutes.
This provides an easy and quick way to pamper yourself and relieve some tension. I have used this idea and found that making it a family affair gives you more time to enjoy it. My daughters soaked their feet with me and thought it was such a treat that after 30-minutes(of quiet awe) I had to convince them it was time to stop. Not only does this allow you to do something relaxing for yourself but you can start showing others how important it is to take care of yourself by taking some 'time-out'.
